New Years Ball Tut!

This tutorial was written by me on December 28, 2011...

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own or post it to any other blog or website without permission from me. It was written for PSP 9, but should be compatible with any version of PSP.

For this tut I used the kit 3-2-1 By Kaci and Pink princess Scraps, which you can find here.

You have to be licensed to use his work. Closeup tubes are included.

Plugins Used:

EyeCandy 4000 - Gradient Glow

DSB Flux - Bright Noise

Let's get started, Remember, save often!

Open the clock tube in the kit, make your canvas size 1000 x 1000 [image>canvas size]

Open the glitter, move it to the bottom layer to the right.

Apply the K_fireworks over top of this layer.

Now open the frames and position them on the lower right hand corner of the clock half way in, apply drop shadow. Open the bling fireworks [element 37 or 38] and position those under the frame so you see them on top of the clock. Pick a paper to add under the frame, I used the lightest pink one. Paste it as a new layer, take your lasso tool and make a selection on top of your frame where you want your paper at like so:

now click promote to layer.

Now you add you close up tubes, I use the layer marked "bonus d".

Move it around and use your lasson to go around the part of

frame you want the tube to go into the promote section to layer.

Do that 3 times using which ever part of the tube you choose.

Open the hat, resize it to 59% and position it over the frames on the lower right hand corner. Apply drop shadow. Open the pink ballon [element 39] and position it behind the hat, apply drop shadow.

Open the new years ticket and position it over the hat, apply drop shadow.

Open the circle and stars [element 8] and apply that on the top of the ticket. Now open the 1st glass, resize to 64% and position it under the new years ticket, apply drop shadow.

Open the champagne, resize to 64% and position it under the glass, apply drop shadow. Add your main tube now under the glass and ticket you just added and apply a drop shadow. Open the 2012 word art

[element 19] rotate it 90 degrees and position it beside the frames on the left side under the champagne and glass, apply drop shadow. Open the silver balloon [element 12] and position it in the upper right corner. Add the purple balloon [element 40] now, resize to 60% and apply drop shadow.

Take your crop tool and crop it close to the tag then resize it to your preference, I used 600 x 575.

Add your copyright information and whatever you want your tag to say. For mine I used the font Caramel Crunch, I applied a black gradient glow, duplicated it and applied a pink graident glow with these settings:
